In observance of Holy Week, TV5 is offering a special lineup of films and religious programs designed to entertain, inspire, and encourage reflection among viewers.
On Holy Thursday, the network will air a variety of family-friendly and critically acclaimed international films, including The Land Before Time II, Bean, Unbroken, and Gladiator. These selections aim to cater to audiences of all ages, from children to adults, during the solemn holiday.
The movie marathon continues on Black Saturday, featuring more heartwarming and entertaining titles such as Robin Hood and Sori: Voice from the Heart.
In addition to films, viewers can also tune in to inspirational and faith-based programs like Mga Kwentong MX3 and Oras ng Himala, which highlight stories of faith and devotion. Meanwhile, Frontline Pilipinas Weekend will continue to deliver the latest news updates relevant to the nation during the Holy Week period.
As part of its observance, TV5 will go off-air on Good Friday (April 3). Sister channels RPTV, One PH, One News, and Kapatid Channel will also temporarily suspend operations from Holy Thursday to Black Saturday, resuming regular programming on Easter Sunday.
Through this special programming, TV5 hopes to provide meaningful entertainment while promoting a peaceful and reflective Holy Week for Filipino viewers.
