OPM icon Yeng Constantino will celebrate her 20th year in the music industry with a milestone concert this August at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
The anniversary show, titled Biyaheng Bente, is set for August 28 and will be directed by actor-director John Prats.
In a heartfelt post on social media,
Constantino thanked her fans for standing by her through two decades of music:
“20 years… at nandito pa rin tayo, magkakasama. Sa bawat kantang kong niyakap nyo sa lungkot at saya, sa bawat liriko na ginawa nyong bahagi ng inyong kwento, lubos po akong nagpapasalamat! Hindi lang ito concert. Reunion ito ng mga pusong pinagbuklod ng musika. Kayo ang dahilan kung bakit tumagal ako ng 20 years sa industriyang ito. 🥹 Sabayan nyo po akong ipagdiwang ito! 🥰 ”
Dubbed the country’s “Pop Rock Royalty,” Constantino is best known for chart-topping hits such as Chinito, Ikaw, and Hawak Kamay. She first rose to fame after winning Pinoy Dream Academy in 2006, later releasing her debut single Salamat.
Her upcoming concert promises to be both a celebration of her career and a reunion with fans who have embraced her music across generations.
