TV5 Entertainment is set to premiere two major teleseryes on April 27, aiming to deliver emotionally engaging and high-quality storytelling for Filipino viewers.
A SECRET IN PRAGUE
Leading the lineup is A Secret in Prague, produced by MQuest Ventures and Slingshot Studios. The romantic-drama marks the first teleserye collaboration of Enrique Gil and Andrea Brillantes on the Kapatid Network following their years with ABS-CBN.
The series follows Mikoy, played by Gil, a Filipino migrant in Prague whose past resurfaces when he reunites with Kiara, portrayed by Brillantes.
Their rekindled connection draws them into a dangerous world of love, crime, and secrets, forcing Mikoy to choose between protecting his family or risking everything for the woman he loves.
Also joining the cast are Edu Manzano, Arlene Muhlach, Joel Torre, Kim Domingo, Cedrick Juan, Queenay Mercado, and Mark Ian Garcia.
MY BESPREN EMMAN
Meanwhile, My Bespren Emman is an inspirational family drama co-produced by MQuest Ventures, Spring Films, and Numinous Narratives. It stars JM de Guzman and Shaina Magdayao in their first teleserye outing with TV5.
The story centers on Mateo and Ruth, a married couple working to rebuild their lives and relationship after a troubled past.
Tackling themes of redemption, resilience, and family struggles, the series highlights the emotional journey of healing and second chances.
Supporting cast members include Ai-Ai delas Alas, Sid Lucero, and Ryrie Sophia.
Both teleseryes will air under the Todomax Primetime Singko beginning April 27, as TV5 strengthens its primetime lineup in a bid to compete with other networks through compelling and top-caliber entertainment.
