Personnel from the Office of the Vice President of the Philippines (OVP) visited Romblon to distribute assistance under its “PagbaBAGo: A Million Learners Campaign,” benefiting hundreds of students.
A total of 559 learners received new PagbaBAGo bags during the activity. Each bag contained essential school supplies, dental kits, and raincoats to support the students’ daily needs in school.
Teachers and students warmly welcomed the OVP team at Agbay-ang Elementary School, Bagsik Elementary School, Punta Elementary School, and Alcantara Central Elementary School, where the distribution took place.
The Romblon rollout is part of the OVP’s broader initiative to distribute one million bags nationwide by 2028, aimed at providing meaningful assistance to learners across the country and helping ease the burden on families.
