VP SARA URGES QUESTIONS ON GOV’T RESPONSE TO MIDDLE EAST CRISIS

Vice President Sara Duterte said President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. should be directly asked about the government’s response to the impact of the ongoing Middle East conflict on Filipinos.

Speaking in Davao City on Thursday, April 9, Duterte raised concerns over how authorities are addressing the crisis.

Asked about the possibility of fuel prices easing, Duterte noted that prices would likely remain high as long as the conflict persists.

When pressed about rumors regarding the President’s health, Duterte gave a brief reply:

“Good luck sa kanya.”

Her remarks come as tensions in the Middle East continue to disrupt global oil supply, driving up fuel prices and raising concerns over their impact on the Philippine economy and Filipino households.
