VP SARA’S PERFORMANCE RATING DROPS, TRUST SCORE RISES – OCTA

Vice President Sara Duterte maintained a majority trust rating but recorded a lower performance score in the latest non-commissioned survey released Monday by OCTA Research.

The survey, conducted from March 19 to 25, 2026, showed Duterte’s performance rating dropped to 50%, four points lower than the 54% posted in the final quarter of 2025.

Regional Performance Ratings

  • Mindanao: 83%
  • Balance Luzon: 35%
  • NCR: 37%

Across socioeconomic groups, Class E respondents gave Duterte her highest performance rating at 59%. She received 48% from Class D and 53% from Class ABC.

Meanwhile, 28% of respondents said they were dissatisfied with her performance. Dissatisfaction was highest in Balance Luzon at 41% and NCR at 40%, while Mindanao posted only 1%. Around 22% remained undecided.

Despite the decline in performance ratings, Duterte’s trust score rose by two points—from 53% in late 2025 to 55% in March 2026.

Regional trust ratings were highest in Mindanao at 90%, while both NCR and Balance Luzon posted the lowest trust levels at 40%.

Among socioeconomic classes, trust was strongest in Class E at 65%, followed by Class ABC at 55% and Class D at 54%.

On the other hand, 26% of adult Filipinos said they distrusted the Vice President. Distrust was highest in NCR at 42% and among Class ABC respondents at 35%. Mindanao recorded 0% distrust, while 19% of respondents were undecided on her trustworthiness.
