During a recent press interview, the It’s Showtime host confirmed that preparations for a 2026 festival entry are well underway, hinting at a high-profile partnership that is expected to shake up the local film industry.
The comedian revealed that the project is currently in the creative phase, with several planning sessions already completed.
“Nakailang meeting na rin naman kami. Nagbe-brainstorm kami every now and then. Nakailang meeting na kami,” Vice shared.
While keeping the specific details under wraps, the “Unkabogable Star” could not hide their excitement regarding the mystery co-star, describing the potential team-up as a significant milestone.
“Bongga yung ka-collab ko this time!”
Speculation regarding a historic crossover intensified when Vice Ganda took a moment to greet veteran comedian and E.A.T… Bulaga! pillar, Vic Sotto, who celebrates his birthday today, April 28.
The public birthday message included a playful yet intriguing invitation for the man known as “Bossing” to share the big screen.
“Happy, happy birthday, Bossing! I love you for life! Gusto mong magka-movie tayo, Bossing?”
While no official confirmation has been made regarding Sotto’s involvement, the prospect of the two titans from rival noontime shows joining forces has sparked massive interest.
