TV5 has officially signaled a bold new chapter in Philippine broadcasting with the unveiling of its refreshed network logo on Monday, April 27. The transition marks a “fresh start” for the Kapatid Network, coinciding with the launch of its “Primetime Pa5iklab” campaign.
The new visual identity updates the network’s 2021 icon, introducing a 3D, metallic, and beveled texture that returns the logo to a more premium, industrial aesthetic for the first time in eight years.
“Fresh start, fresh icon, fresh energy. Kapatid Network enters a fresh new era,” the network announced during the unveiling.
The rebranding served as the backdrop for the high-stakes premiere of two major original series. Leading the charge at 8:00 PM is “A Secret in Prague,” an action-packed romance featuring the first-ever pairing of Enrique Gil and Andrea Brillantes. Filmed on location in the Czech Republic, the series follows a spy mission entangled with a high-stakes mafia plot.
Following immediately at 8:45 PM is “My Bespren Emman,” an inspirational drama top-billed by JM De Guzman and Shaina Magdayao. The story explores themes of faith and second chances through a transformative journey involving a mysterious figure.
Beyond these premieres, TV5 teased a robust 2026 programming slate, including:
- Project Loki: A live-action mystery-thriller adaptation of the popular Wattpad story starring Dylan Menor and Jayda Avanzado.
- Ang Mutya ng Section E: The Dark Side: An expansion of the teen rom-com franchise.
- New Titles: Upcoming shows such as “Kumusta” and “The Good Doctor.”
These new offerings join a lineup of established favorites, reinforcing TV5’s position as a powerhouse of diverse content. The network continues to house heavyweights like the long-running variety show “EAT… Bulaga!,” the news leadership of “Frontline Pilipinas,” and the public service phenomenon “Kapatid Mo, Idol Raffy Tulfo.”
With a sleek new look and a surge of original scripted content, the Kapatid Network is positioning itself as a dominant alternative in the local television landscape, promising “lakas at bangis” (strength and ferocity) in the years to come.
