ABS-CBN RECLAIMS WEEKEND DOMINANCE WITH RETURNING HITS AND YOUTH DEBATE REVIVAL

ABS-CBN is set to fortify its weekend lineup this April and May 2026, marking the return of world-class game show franchises and a modernized classic public affairs program.

The network’s fresh slate includes new seasons of Kapamilya Deal or No Deal and Everybody Sing, along with the highly anticipated reboot of the youth-oriented debate show YSpeak.

THE BANKER RETURNS: KAPAMILYA DEAL OR NO DEAL SEASON 6

After a decade-long hiatus, the high-stakes game of chance, Kapamilya Deal or No Deal, officially premiered its sixth season on April 25. Luis Manzano returns as the “National Host” and takes on an expanded role as a creative consultant for the production.

The launch weekend coincided with a birthday celebration for Manzano, featuring special guests Jessy Mendiola and the “Star for All Seasons,” Batangas Governor Vilma Santos-Recto. This season introduces the “20 Lucky Stars”—a dynamic ensemble of celebrities and personalities who now handle the iconic briefcases.

“The ‘Banker’ is calling once again as ‘Kapamilya Deal or No Deal’ makes its return, still headlined by Host Luis Manzano,” the network announced.

The show airs Saturdays and Sundays at 7:30 PM on Kapamilya Channel, A2Z, and ABS-CBN sa ALLTV2.

COMMUNITY VOICES SING IN EVERYBODY SING SEASON 4

Following the resounding success of its previous runs, the Philippines’ first community singing game show, Everybody Sing, returns for a fourth season on May 2. Vice Ganda, Asia’s Unkabogable Superstar, reprises her role as host, leading various “Songbayanan” community groups in their quest for the ₱2 million jackpot.

This season marks a significant shift to ALLTV2, following the conclusion of ABS-CBN’s content partnership with TV5 earlier this year.

“‘Everybody Sing,’ the country’s first community singing game show, returns for its much-awaited fourth season with Asia’s Unkabogable Superstar Vice Ganda this May 2,” the corporate announcement confirmed.

The program will take the 8:30 PM weekend slot, moving the long-running re-runs of Maalaala Mo Kaya to a later 9:45 PM schedule.

A NEW GENERATION SPEAKS: THE RETURN OF YSPEAK 2.0

Aiming to revitalize civic discourse among young Filipinos, ABS-CBN is reviving its award-winning youth debate show as YSpeak 2.0. Scheduled for a May 9 premiere at 10:45 PM, the program is a co-production between the network and Caritas Philippines.

The reboot features a fresh lineup of hosts, including Elijah Canlas, KD Estrada, Aya Fernandez, Robbie Jaworski, Ralph de Leon, and River Joseph.

Directed by Alco Guerrero and guided by executive director Fr. Tito Caluag, the show is designed to bridge the gap between discourse and action on critical social issues.

“‘YSpeak 2.0’ is driven completely by our young voices on the ground, taking over the platforms we actually use to turn discourse into real change,” the producers stated.
