MediaQuest Artist Agency (MQAA) has officially rebranded as Star Worx, marking a new era for TV5’s talent management arm. The grand launch, held yesterday at the MVP Studios in Mandaluyong, introduced the network’s “Block One”—a powerhouse lineup of 16 fresh, rising talents poised to elevate the Philippine entertainment landscape.

The initial batch of stars includes Adam Buck, Amo Wilding, Chan Martin, Nico Matugas, Patrick Ballesteros, Spencer Capistrano, Wayne Leonard, Carmela Lorzano, Celyn David, Kaitlyn King, Keisha Serna, Marthena Jickain, Nathalie Apollo, Rahil Gatali, Selina Griffin, and Steph Razon.

During the event, Star Worx head Jeff Remigio expressed his gratitude to the co-managers and TV5 executives who trusted the agency’s vision from the start. Remigio revealed that over 50 “Kapatid” stars have already transitioned from MQAA to the new roster. Notably, MMFF 2023 Best Actor Cedrick Juan was recognized as the very first talent signed under the revamped agency, currently starring in the Kapatid primetime series A Secret In Prague.

To guide this new generation, Star Worx has brought in industry legend Johnny “Mr. M” Manahan. Remigio thanked Mr. M for lending his unmatched wisdom and vision to the organization.

Manahan expressed his appreciation to the leadership of TV5 and MediaQuest, while emphasizing that traditional television remains a vital and relevant medium for star-building. He noted that the ongoing challenge lies in discovering the right people to bring creative, imaginary visions to life.
