PRODUCTION FOR COCO MARTIN’S “SIGABO” RESUMES

After a hiatus lasting several weeks, production has officially resumed for the highly anticipated romantic action-comedy series “Sigabo,” a joint project of ABS-CBNʼs Dreamscape Entertainment and CCM Film Productions.

Lead star and director Coco Martin, along with various production staff, confirmed the return to the set through updates shared on their official social media accounts.

The series was originally slated to premiere on March 16 as the immediate successor to the long-running action hit “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo.” However, the launch was intentionally deferred to allow Martin and his production team—many of whom transitioned directly from the grueling schedule of the previous series—sufficient time to rest.

Joining Martin in the powerhouse cast is his real-life partner Julia Montes, alongside Sue Ramirez, JM de Guzman, Chanda Romero, and Joey Marquez. If the current production timeline holds, the series is expected to make its television debut on June 22.

“Sigabo” is set to air on the Primetime Bida block via Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, iWantTFC, TFC, A2Z, and ABS-CBN on ALLTV2.
