The acclaimed drama film “Manila’s Finest,” produced by MQuest Ventures, Cignal, and Spring Films, added another milestone to its growing list of achievements after earning four honors at the 9th Eddys Awards held on July 5.
The film received the Best Sound award for Roy Santos and Neil Diokno, Best Musical Score for Frederik Sandoval and Emerson Texon, Best Original Theme Song for “Sandalan,” performed by the film’s lead actor Piolo Pascual, and Best Supporting Actor for singer-actor Rico Blanco.
The acting recognition marked Blanco’s first-ever acting award, making it a significant milestone in his career.
“Manila’s Finest” first premiered as an official entry in the 2025 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF), where it emerged as one of the festival’s biggest winners after receiving the highest number of awards, including the 3rd Best Picture honor.
The latest recognition at the Eddys further highlights the film’s continued success and critical acclaim in the Philippine entertainment industry.
