Drivers can now view their traffic violations and settle fines under the Non-Contact Apprehension Policy (NCAP) directly through the eGovPH Super App, following a digital partnership announced by the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) on Thursday.
The new feature, built alongside the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), centralizes traffic-related queries and payments into one encrypted platform.
MMDA Chairman Don Artes and DICT Secretary Henry Aguda officially introduced the upgrade during a launch event attended by transport leaders and state officials.
According to Artes, the integration aligns with national efforts to merge public services into a single digital space.
“This supports the digitalization push for a unified platform where Filipinos can conveniently access various government services in one application,” Artes stated.
Artes underscored the growing demand for online access, noting that the MMDA’s “MayHuliKa” website has already recorded over 15 million visits and handled more than 11 million traffic queries across 2.7 million unique users.
Secretary Aguda added that the project aims to bridge the digital gap for everyday citizens.
“Digital services should be faster, more affordable, and more secure so that no Filipino is left behind,” Aguda said.
The system upgrade took six months of technical planning to complete, according to DICT Undersecretary David Almirol Jr., who shared that the eGovPH app has already reached 60 million downloads and 55 million verified profiles.
To protect motorist data, officials assured the public that the app operates with round-the-clock security monitoring and end-to-end data encryption.
