PROSECUTORS REJECT VP SARA’S POLITICKING CLAIMS

House prosecutors have shot down Vice President Sara Duterte’s allegations that the administration is entirely consumed by political games at the expense of governance.

In a press briefing on July 10, Bicol Saro Party-list Representative Terry Ridon countered the Vice President’s claims that public officials have abandoned their duties.

Ridon maintained that the government remains actively focused on resolving economic issues and enhancing public services, citing recent initiatives to raise regional wages and spread economic growth to ordinary Filipinos.

Meanwhile, Manila 3rd District Representative Joel Chua called out the Vice President for skipping her impeachment hearings, accusing her of using allegations of “politicking” as a distraction.

Chua pressed Duterte to directly address the transparency issues surrounding her office, specifically the mysterious identity of an alias uncovered during the congressional inquiries.

Chua further challenged the Vice President to explain massive financial discrepancies flagged in an Anti-Money Laundering Council (AMLC) report.
