The speculation stemmed from statements made by showbiz insider and talent manager Ogie Diaz on his digital show. Diaz reported that the couple exchanged vows on Monday evening, July 13, during a private ceremony in Makati.
”Congratulations Bea Alonzo and Vincent Co, finally, they got married na sa Makati, noong July 13 at 7:00 PM,” Ogie stated.
According to Diaz, the intimate event allegedly took place at the Makati City Hall with a limited guest list that included representatives from a luxury bag brand. He also claimed to have received photos of the ceremony and asserted that a marriage certificate exists, though no verified documents or images have been released to the public.
The unverified claims have sparked heavy discussion across social media, breathing new life into months of continuous rumors about the couple’s status. Prior speculation suggested that the two had originally planned a larger wedding, which was allegedly pushed back to finalize a prenuptial agreement.
Touching upon those previous rumors, Diaz alleged that the legal matters had been settled and that the couple went ahead with a prenup. He added that high-profile attorney Lorna Kapunan was present at the event to represent Alonzo.
