GMA Network continues to hold its ground at the top of primetime television, propelled by the strong ratings of its flagship programs, “The Master Cutter” and “Taskforce Firewall,” which benefit from a broad broadcast reach spanning four free-to-air channels.
According to the latest AGB Nielsen National Urban Television Audience Measurement (NUTAM) figures recorded on Monday, July 13, the Dingdong Dantes-led series “The Master Cutter” garnered a combined rating of 11.9%. Broadcast simultaneously on GMA-7, GTV, I Heart Movies, and Heart of Asia, the show safely ahead of ABS-CBN’s action-comedy “Coco Martin’s Sigabo,” which logged an 8.1% rating across its multi-platform broadcast on A2Z, TV5, ALLTV2, and the Kapamilya Channel.
GMA’s success continued into the later slot with “Taskforce Firewall,” starring Kylie Padilla, Miguel Tanfelix, and Kyline Alcantara. The series pulled in a steady 10.7% rating through its 8:50 PM simulcast on GMA-7, I Heart Movies, and Heart of Asia, alongside a delayed 10:25 PM broadcast on GTV.
This viewership safely outpaced its direct competitors. ABS-CBN’s action drama “Blood vs. Duty,” starring Richard Gutierrez and Gerald Anderson, recorded a 3.7% rating across the Kapamilya Channel, A2Z, and ALLTV2. Trailing further behind in the same timeslot was TV5’s romantic-action-comedy “A Secret in Prague,” starring Enrique Gil and Andrea Brillantes, which registered a 0.8% rating.
”The Master Cutter” airs weekdays at 8:00 PM on GMA-7, GTV, I Heart Movies, and Heart of Asia, while “Taskforce Firewall” follows immediately at 8:50 PM on GMA-7, I Heart Movies, and Heart of Asia, with a late-night rerun on GTV at 10:25 PM.
