ABS-CBN Entertainment has achieved a major digital milestone by exceeding 55 million subscribers on YouTube, further solidifying its status as the most-subscribed media and entertainment channel in Southeast Asia.
According to metrics from Tubular and YouTube Analytics, the channel amassed an incredible 76 billion cumulative views as of July 3.
This achievement highlights the steady shift of audiences to ABS-CBN’s online platforms, enabling the media giant to cultivate one of the biggest entertainment channels in the region despite the absence of its traditional free-to-air broadcast network.
The channel’s diverse lineup features popular primetime dramas such as “Coco Martin’s Sigabo,” “Blood vs Duty,” and “The Alibi: Ang Buong Katotohanan.” Additionally, viewers can stream established favorites like “It’s Showtime,” “ASAP XP,” “TV Patrol,” “Kapamilya Deal or No Deal,” and “Everybody Sing.”
To complement its television catalog, the company has also diversified into internet-exclusive programming. This digital-first roster includes the celebrity-centered podcast “Hot Takes,” Melai Cantiveros’ Bisaya-language talk show “Kuan on One,” and “The Next Big Band,” which stands as ABS-CBN’s inaugural music docu-reality series built solely for YouTube.
Ultimately, this latest feat demonstrates the enduring loyalty of the network’s audience, propelling the company to new digital heights years after the loss of its broadcast franchise.
