South Korean actor Gong Yoo is preparing to connect with his supporters across the region through his upcoming “The Long Take” Asia fan meeting tour, which was announced last week by his agency, Management Soop.
In a newly released promotional teaser, the 47-year-old actor is shown sitting on a park bench, browsing a newspaper that reveals the various stops of his tour.
The fan meeting series is scheduled to make stops in Yokohama, Bangkok, Jakarta, Macau, and Manila, before wrapping up with a final event in Seoul.
Specific details regarding the Manila leg, including ticket pricing and the venue, have not yet been revealed.
Gong Yoo has built an illustrious career by headlining numerous landmark television series and movies. He achieved breakout success in the 2007 hit drama Coffee Prince, portraying a coffee shop owner who unexpectedly falls for a female employee he initially mistakes for a man.
In 2016, he earned massive international acclaim for his role in Goblin, playing an immortal being on a quest to find his human bride and break a centuries-old curse.
In addition to these career-defining dramas, Gong Yoo made highly memorable cameo appearances as the enigmatic salesman recruiting players in the global sensation Squid Game.
