The longest-running noontime show in the Philippines, Eat… Bulaga!, celebrated its 47th anniversary on Saturday, August 1, with an energetic and nostalgia-filled special episode.
The celebration featured performances from former cast members and standout contestants of iconic segments, including That’s My Boy, Super Sireyna, and Pinoy Henyo. Fan-favorite performers like the Broadway Boys and the Sexbomb Dancers also returned to the stage.

Adding to the nostalgic milestone was the return of the beloved KalyeSerye characters from the groundbreaking 2015 segment. Wally Bayola, Paolo Ballesteros, and Jose Manalo reprised their roles as Lola Nidora, Lola Tidora, and Lola Tinidora, reuniting alongside Maine Mendoza as Yaya Dub.

Beyond the entertainment, the anniversary episode marked the launch of “EBusiness,” a new initiative by Eat… Bulaga! aimed at empowering micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) across the country.
Led by main hosts Senate President Pro Tempore Vicente “Tito” Sotto III, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon (TVJ), the team expressed confidence in continuing their legacy of bringing joy and hope to viewers every lunchtime—especially as the show approaches its milestone 50th golden anniversary in three years.

Eat… Bulaga! airs Monday through Friday at 12:00 PM and Saturdays at 11:25 AM on TV5, RPTV, Kapatid Channel, and Kapatid Livestream, as well as on the official social media platforms of TVJ Productions and TV5.
