TV5 UNVEILS NEW SHOWS AND PARTNERSHIPS FOR SECOND HALF OF 2026

TV5 showcased its upcoming broadcast roster for the second half of 2026 during its midyear trade event on Thursday, August 6, unveiling new entertainment titles, news program updates, and key industry partnerships.

In his address to media representatives and advertisers, TV5 Network Inc. President Guido Zaballero emphasized the network’s continuing goal to expand its reach through high-quality local productions, stating:

​“As we continue to grow, our mission remains the same: to bring great Filipino stories to more Filipinos.”

Highlighting the new entertainment lineup is the daytime romantic-comedy series “Mommy Guard,” featuring the 1990s screen tandem of Marvin Agustin and Jolina Magdangal.

Veteran journalist Korina Sanchez-Roxas also makes her return to the Kapatid Network with her flagship news magazine program, “Rated Korina.”

The network’s news division is expanding its morning offerings with the premiere of “Frontline sa Umaga” on Monday, August 10, taking over the timeslot previously held by “Gud Morning Kapatid.” Additionally, TV5 announced a new digital collaboration between its talent agency, Star Worx, and video platform YouTube.

Alongside the newly launched projects, TV5 highlighted its current broadcast lineup, including “My Bespren Emman,” “A Secret in Prague,” “EAT… Bulaga!,” and “Vibe+.”

The network also reaffirmed its partnership with ABS-CBN Studios, continuing to air co-produced programs such as “Coco Martin’s Sigabo,” “Someone, Someday,” “Blockbusters sa Umaga,” “Kapamilya Deal or No Deal,” and “Everybody Sing.”
