ICONIC TALK SHOW GANDANG GABI VICE MAKES OFFICIAL RETURN TO TELEVISION

The beloved late-night comedy talk show Gandang Gabi Vice (GGV) is officially making its long-awaited television return after more than six years off the air.

During ABS-CBN’s Annual Stockholders’ Meeting, Chief Operating Officer for Broadcast Cory Vidanes confirmed that the hit program, top-billed by comedy superstar Vice Ganda, will resume broadcasting across multiple networks and digital platforms.

“’Gandang Gabi Vice,’ the new season, will come back next month on GMA, iWant, and Kapamilya Channel,” Vidanes said.

The announcement places an official timetable on a revival that the host had previously teased. Earlier this year during a student journalism conference, Vice Ganda hinted at the program’s return:

“Magbabalik na’ng GGV,” Vice Ganda stated.

Originally launching in May 2011, Gandang Gabi Vice ran for nearly nine years before concluding its initial run in March 2020. At the time of its finale, the host likened the conclusion to a extended commercial pause, assuring fans that the show would eventually return to airwaves.

The revival marks another milestone in the evolving content partnership between former rival networks, with the show now set to reach audiences via free TV on GMA Network along with streaming on iWantTFC and the Kapamilya Channel.
