ASHTINE OLVIGA SETS THE STAGE ABLAZE IN HER FIRST-EVER SOLO CONCERT

A full-blown concert spectacle — that was exactly what Ashtine Olviga delivered as she officially stepped into a new chapter of her career through her first-ever solo concert on Saturday, August 22, at the New Frontier Theater.

Dubbed the Nation’s Mutya, the actress-singer welcomed her fans with an electrifying and fiery opening number that immediately set the tone for an unforgettable night. From her commanding stage presence to her undeniable energy, Ashtine proved that she was more than ready to take center stage on her own.

The concert also became a heartwarming mini-reunion as Ashtine shared the stage with her former LITZ P-pop groupmates Bianca and Fatima, bringing back memories of her earlier journey in the entertainment industry.

Fans were treated to another nostalgic moment when Ashtine reunited with her Ang Mutya ng Section E co-stars Jastine Lim and Sara Joe, reconnecting with some of the people who became part of her journey through the hit 2025 digital series.

The night became even more exciting when rising VIVA singers Rob Deniel and Amiel Sol joined Ashtine for special duets, giving the audience plenty of reasons to sing along and enjoy the performances.

Adding more star power to the celebration were the “Univerkada” ladies Nicole Omillo, Krissha Viaje, and Aubrey Caraan, who joined Ashtine onstage for another memorable performance.

But beyond the glamour, music, and celebration, Ashtine also used her platform to make a statement.

She delivered her own rendition of the OPM classic “Upuan,” a song widely associated with social inequality and corruption. Through the performance, Ashtine appeared to highlight the realities faced by many Filipinos and the continuing struggles brought by societal problems.

Then came one of the evening’s biggest surprises.

Kapamilya singer Maki made a special appearance and shared the stage with Ashtine for a duet, adding another unforgettable highlight to an already star-studded night. His surprise appearance drew excitement from the audience while showing his support for Ashtine as she celebrates a major milestone in her career.

From fiery performances and emotional reunions to unexpected collaborations and meaningful musical moments, Ashtine’s first solo concert became a celebration of how far she has come.

More importantly, the concert served as a powerful reminder that Ashtine is no longer simply the rising star people are watching — she is becoming a performer capable of commanding a stage all on her own.

And if this first concert is any indication, the Nation’s Mutya may only be getting started.

The stage has witnessed what Ashtine can do. Now, the bigger question is: what comes next for her?
