The fan-powered countdown show VIBE marked part two of its first anniversary celebration with a star-studded showcase honoring Original Pilipino Music (OPM).
Vibe Jocks Dylan, Ana, and Carmela opened the festivities with performances of Rivermaya classics “Kisapmata” and “Himala.” The legendary band Rivermaya then joined Vibe Jocks Dylan, Ryle, Joao, and Star Worx artists to perform hit tracks “Umaaraw, Umuulan,” “Hinahanap-Hanap Kita,” and “Awit Ng Kabataan.” Reflecting on the show, Rivermaya expressed gratitude to the network, highlighting VIBE as an authentic home for local musical talent.
The celebration continued as Star Worx artists delivered performances of “Dance With You,” “Asan Ka Ba,” and “Paligoy-ligoy.”
Making their “F1RST on VIBE PLUS” stage debut, P-Pop group KAIA performed their new single “Hulog.” The show also recognized GEN V Selina, who brought home eight awards from the Bandung International Dance Competition (BIDC) 2026, featuring her performance of “Pagsamo.” Selina expressed gratitude to her mother, who owns a dance studio, as well as her coach, classmates, friends, the MSL dance crew, and the VIBE and Star Worx families for their support.
OG rap duo Legit Misfitz also made their program debut, performing classic hits “Trapik” and “Jabongga.”
The main event highlighted OPM icon Ogie Alcasid, who made his show debut with performances of “Bakit Ngayon Ka Lang,” “Dito Sa Puso Ko” alongside Vibe Jock Dylan, and his latest single “Hanggang Dito Na Lang Ba Tayo.”
The program also marked Alcasid’s birthday while honoring his enduring career in the Philippine music industry.
“Ang aking mensahe ay simple lang, sana lagi niyong po sinusuporta ang OPM, na ibig sabihin ay si Ogie Pogi Masyado–ay hinde! Original Pilipino Music. Mahalin niyo po ang OPM dahil mahal natin ang musikang ito,” Alcasid shared.
Greeting the program and its fanbase on its milestone, he added:
“You know, its your anniversary, you should be proud. That is something to be proud of.”
The program confirmed that the show will feature Kapamilya artists Erik Santos and Nyoy Volante to close out its month-long anniversary lineup. Voting for the Main Vibe remains open, with the deadline to be announced soon.
