FIRST NEGROS ISLAND REGION PCO SUMMIT SET FOR OCTOBER IN BACOLOD

​Environmental professionals from Negros Occidental, Negros Oriental, Siquijor, and Bacolod City will gather in Bacolod City on October 15 and 16 for the inaugural Pollution Control Officer (PCO) Summit in the Negros Island Region.

​Organized by the Pollution Control Association of the Philippines Inc. (PCAPI), the two-day gathering is themed “Unmasking Tomorrow for a Cleaner, Brighter, Sustainable Negros Island Region”.

​”It will explore emerging challenges, practical solutions, innovative technologies and the evolving role of the PCO in building a cleaner and more sustainable future for Negros Island,” the PCAPI said.

​The event will convene pollution control officers, environmental practitioners, industry representatives, regulatory experts, and technology providers. Attendees will gain access to regulatory updates, industry insights, and opportunities for professional networking.

​A dedicated solutions marketplace will showcase practical tools, technologies, and best practices. The agenda also features interactive case discussions, challenge room sessions, and actionable approaches to address compliance demands.

​”Participants can identify actionable ideas and solutions to bring back to your organizations,” the PCAPI said.
