In an unexpected highlight during the MikuFes PH: 39 Miku! Project B.B. birthday celebration on September 6, 2026, virtual diva Hatsune Miku made a surprise appearance for an exclusive mini concert at the Bayanihan Center in Pasig City.
Appearing during the evening program segment, Miku kicked off a surprise set that drew enthusiastic chants and glowing lightstick displays from hundreds of attendees gathered inside the hall.
Mid-way through the set, red-haired fan-favorite Kasane Teto made a guest appearance alongside Miku to perform “Mesmerizer,” the fast-paced 2024 viral hit produced by Satsuki. The virtual duo delivered a synchronized performance recreating the signature chaotic choreography and visual elements of the track, marking a major crowd-pleaser for local Vocaloid enthusiasts.
Following the mini concert, Miku addressed the crowd directly in Pasig City, expressing her heartfelt gratitude for the overwhelming energy, warm reception, and enduring passion of her Philippine fanbase. She also encouraged the local community to continue supporting her in upcoming regional concerts, international tours, and project rollouts.
Co-organized by community fanbase Miku PH and TeAr Aesthetic Haute, MikuFes PH served as the country’s main community-driven birthday bash celebrating Miku’s 19th birthday. Held across Halls A and B of the Bayanihan Center, the full-day event brought together artist alley showcases, local performer lineups, singing and dancing competitions, a Project Sekai tournament, and official commemorative merchandise.
