H.E.R. and Liza Soberano have teamed up for “BRB,” a new song featured in the soundtrack of the upcoming animated movie “Forgotten Island.”
Released on September 8 through Back Lot Music, the track arrived ahead of the film’s scheduled theatrical run in the Philippines.
H.E.R. and Soberano lend their voices to the movie’s main characters, Jo and Raissa, respectively, and also perform the song together.
“Forgotten Island” centers on two childhood friends who become stranded on the mysterious island of Nakali as they search for a way back home.
H.E.R. recently traveled to the Philippines with Soberano for a promotional event for the animated film. During her visit, she also gave fans a glimpse of the upcoming music video for “BRB,” which was shot in the Philippines.
The complete soundtrack of “Forgotten Island” is slated for release on September 18, while the film will arrive in Philippine cinemas on September 23.
