Kapamilya actress and television host Kim Chiu has received another international accolade after being named Best Global Star at the 2nd iMBC Awards.
Chiu shared the news on Instagram and dedicated the recognition to the people who have supported her throughout her two-decade career in show business.
She expressed gratitude to her family, friends, management team, and fans for their continued affection and encouragement.
“Gamsahamnida (감사합니다) ????????????????????✨ To all my beloved supporters/friends/family who have been with me through the years, THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. Your unconditional love and support mean more to me than words can ever express,” Chiu wrote.
The actress said the award represents not only her own achievement but also the people who remained by her side and believed in her through the various stages of her career.
“Through every season, every project, every high and low—you always have my back. I will forever be grateful to have you by my side. This recognition is also yours,” she added.
Chiu also shared her pride in representing the Philippines at the international awards ceremony, where she was recognized alongside performers from different countries.
“It is such an honor to represent the Philippines ???????? alongside so many talented actors and actresses from different countries. To be recognized among all of you is something I will truly treasure,” she said.
The award came as Chiu celebrates her 20th anniversary in the entertainment industry. She said the continued support from her followers remains deeply meaningful even after two decades in show business.
“Twenty years in this industry, and I still find myself overwhelmed with gratitude whenever I receive love like this,” she said.
Another Filipino actor, Paulo Avelino, was also recognized at the event, taking home the Outstanding Asian Star award.
South Korean celebrities IU and Byeon Woo-seok were likewise among the notable awardees, winning Best Korean Actress and Best Korean Actor, respectively.
Meanwhile, Chiu has not yet personally commented on social media speculation regarding a supposed pregnancy, which has recently sparked discussions among netizens.
