ABS-CBN PLATFORMS TO AIR ‘CRAYON SHIN-CHAN’ STARTING SEPTEMBER 2026

Beloved comedy anime Crayon Shin-chan is set to reach even more Filipino households this September 2026 as the iconic series expands its broadcast footprint across both digital streaming platforms and major local television channels.

Local anime fans can catch the mischievous adventures of the Nohara family through digital streaming on iWantTFC starting Wednesday, September 16, 2026, with two new episodes dropping every week.

For television viewers, the series will launch across multiple free TV channels starting Saturday, September 26, 2026. ALLTV and Kapamilya Channel will broadcast the anime every Saturday morning from 6:30 AM to 7:00 AM, while A2Z Channel will air episodes every Saturday from 8:00 AM to 8:30 AM.

Created by Yoshito Usui, Crayon Shin-chan follows the chaotic daily life and humorous antics of five-year-old Shinnosuke “Shin-chan” Nohara, his parents Misae and Hiroshi, his baby sister Himawari, and their dog Shiro in Kasukabe, Japan.

The series’ multi-platform broadcast expansion arrives as a prelude to the franchise’s upcoming big-screen outing in the country. Distributed by Muse Asia, the 33rd 2D feature film, Crayon Shin-chan The Movie Super Strange! My Yōkai Monster Vacation, is scheduled to premiere in Philippine cinemas nationwide this November 2026.
