MAKATI PROSECUTORS DISMISS ABUSE AND DETENTION COMPLAINTS AGAINST MICHELLE DEE AND RHIAN RAMOS

Prosecutors in Makati City have dismissed allegations of unlawful detention and physical abuse brought against celebrities Michelle Dee, Rhian Ramos, and Samantha Panlilio due to a lack of supporting evidence.

According to a resolution dated September 1, the Makati City Prosecutor’s Office determined that the complainant, a man identified under the alias “Totoy,” provided insufficient proof to substantiate his claims of maltreatment, slight physical injuries, and unlawful arrest.

Totoy had alleged that the trio assaulted him and held him inside a condominium unit against his will during a January dispute. The confrontation reportedly stemmed from a missing “angpao” that contained private and sensitive photographs.

However, investigators noted that the accuser failed to show he was forcefully detained inside the residence.

All three celebrities have consistently denied the accusations.

While the primary complaint against the stars has been cleared, the legal conflict remains ongoing.

Counter-complaints of theft and perjury filed by Dee and Ramos against Totoy are still under review, and the legal group assisting Totoy has signaled plans to appeal the dismissal.
