TV5 BRINGS BACK TWO ICONIC TELESERYES

MANILA, Philippines — TV5 is bringing back two of its well-known teleseryes as part of its latest programming lineup, giving viewers another opportunity to revisit popular dramas from the Kapatid Network.

Beginning Monday, September 21, TV5 will re-air its 2012 fantasy-drama series “Cassandra: Warrior Angel” as part of its late-night programming.

The series stars Eula Caballero, Eula Valdez, Gabby Concepcion, Alwyn Uytingco, Albie Casiño, and JC de Vera. It follows a young woman who discovers that she possesses hidden powers and uses them to battle evil spirits and demons while attempting to reunite her fractured family.

“Cassandra: Warrior Angel” will air starting Monday, September 21, at 11 p.m. on TV5’s Todomax Primetime block.

Meanwhile, another TV5 series will return to the network’s afternoon lineup. The 2023 action-drama series “Lumuhod Ka Sa Lupa,” produced by TV5 and Studio VIVA, is set to make its comeback on October 5.

Starring Kiko Estrada, Sarah Lahbati, Sid Lucero, Rhen Escaño, and Gardo Verzosa, the series centers on Norman Dela Cruz, portrayed by Estrada, as he pursues revenge and seeks justice against his corrupt uncle.

“Lumuhod Ka Sa Lupa” will air Monday to Friday at 3:15 p.m. under TV5’s Hapon Champion block beginning October 5.

The return of the two titles forms part of TV5’s programming moves aimed at giving Kapatid viewers familiar entertainment choices through the network’s current schedule.
