The exchange began on a social media post showcasing a customer receiving promotional items from Curtis’s makeup line, BLK Cosmetics.
Amid supportive remarks from fans, one online user shared a close-up picture of the celebrity alongside a hostile comment directed at her and her child.
“Retokada yarn? Exhibit A – anak,” the netizen wrote.
The remark was eventually deleted, but Curtis read the statement and chose to address it publicly rather than ignoring it or fueling an argument. Taking a calm approach, she refuted the claim that she had undergone plastic surgery while expressing affection for her daughter.
“Can proudly say I’m not retokada at all, and for me, for me lang naman, my daughter and I are both beautiful. I usually don’t give people like you the time of the day, but wala lang. I don’t know who hurt you or why you’re so angry with me, but nonetheless, sending you some kindness; maybe you need some in your life. Big virtual hug ???? I mean that, sincerely. Good night! ????” Curtis replied.
