QUEZON CITY — A delegation of emerging political figures from Australia met with local officials in Quezon City on Thursday, September 24, as part of an international leadership program aimed at deepening their understanding of Philippine public administration and political systems.
Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte welcomed the delegation, which was led by Tasmanian Senator Josh Dolega representing the Australian Labor Party (ALP).
The study visit was organized under the 2026 Philippine Center of Young Leaders in Governance (PCYL)–Australian Political Exchange Council (APEC) Exchange Program.
The partnership provides a bilateral platform for upcoming policymakers from both nations to share expertise, discuss best practices in governance, and foster closer diplomatic and institutional ties through constructive dialogue.
