Asian Academy Creative Awards Chairperson Beverley McGarvey, who also serves as President and Streaming Lead at Paramount ANZ, praised the talent showcased across the continent.
“Each year, these awards remind us just how much talent, ambition and originality exists in our region,” McGarvey said.
She noted that narratives originating from the Asia-Pacific region are turning out to be “more confident, more distinctive and more influential,” resonating strongly with both local and global audiences.
According to organizers, submission numbers matched 2025 levels, resulting in what the academy described as the largest showcase of Asia-Pacific content in the world. The judging panel featured industry experts from 38 countries, spanning public broadcasters, streaming platforms, production studios, and distributors.
The National Winners will now compete in the final international round, culminating in the Grand Awards Gala and Red Carpet event on December 3 at the Capitol Theatre.
