WILLIE REVILLAME FUELS GMA RETURN RUMORS AFTER MEETING NETWORK EXECUTIVES

QUEZON CITY, Philippines — Controversial television host and comedian Willie Revillame has fueled speculations of a potential return to GMA Network after meeting with high-ranking executives of the broadcasting giant.

GMA Senior Vice President Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes teased the public by sharing a social media post featuring her encounter with Revillame.

“ABANGAN 🫶,” wrote Gozon-Valdes.

While Gozon-Valdes did not disclose further details regarding the nature of the meeting, insider sources indicate that Revillame is in talks with network management to bring back his hit variety game show, “Wowowin.” Reports suggest the show could air on GTV, GMA-7’s free-to-air sister channel.

Revillame parted ways with the Kapuso network in 2022 after “Wowowin” enjoyed a successful seven-year run on the channel. He subsequently transferred to ALLTV, a newly launched network owned by his close friend, former Senate President and business tycoon Manny Villar.

However, Revillame departed from ALLTV less than a year later following persistent challenges with low television ratings and scarce advertising revenues.
