MUNTINLUPA SECURES NHA LAND FOR NEW SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL CAMPUS

MUNTINLUPA CITY, Philippines — Local officials led by Mayor Ruffy Biazon have finalized a land-use agreement with the National Housing Authority (NHA) to designate a permanent site for the Poblacion National High School–Senior High School (PNHS-SHS).

Biazon formally executed the usufruct accord alongside NHA General Manager Joeben Tai, Muntinlupa Lone District Representative Jaime Fresnedi, and Schools Division Superintendent Violeta Gonzales.

Under the arrangement, the PNHS-SHS facility will be constructed within the NHA-owned Southville 3 housing development situated in Barangay Poblacion, Muntinlupa.

“Another major win for education in Muntinlupa! This agreement guarantees a dedicated, safe, and quality learning space for our SHS students—a direct realization of our commitment to accessible education for all,” Biazon said.

By legal definition under the Civil Code, “usufruct gives a right to enjoy the property of another with the obligation of preserving its form and substance, unless the title constituting it or the law otherwise provides.”

In a statement posted on social media, school representatives characterized the deal as “an important step toward strengthening the foundation of PNHS–Senior High School and supporting the continued delivery of accessible and quality education for our learners.”

The institution expressed gratitude to both the municipal administration and the NHA for their joint initiative “to advance the mission of education.”
