BEN&BEN’S “LEAVES (REIMAGINED)” SUBMITTED FOR 2027 GRAMMY CONSIDERATION

MANILA — Filipino folk-pop sensation Ben&Ben is moving closer to international music’s biggest stage as their track “Leaves (Reimagined)” officially enters consideration for the 2027 Grammy Awards.

Sony Music Entertainment Philippines submitted the reworked song for the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance category to the Recording Academy, the organization behind the prestigious annual event.

The members of Ben&Ben shared that securing a Grammy nomination has been a lifelong dream for the group. They also expressed deep gratitude for the opportunity to have their artistry reviewed and evaluated by the academy’s voting members.

The initial round of voting for the upcoming Grammys runs from October 12 to October 22, with the highly anticipated official nominee list scheduled for release on November 16. Meanwhile, the main awards ceremony is slated to take place on February 7, 2027.

Launched in August, “Leaves (Reimagined)” provides a fresh, updated interpretation of the band’s 2017 hit single, offering a deeper, more mature look into the universal themes of healing, reconciliation, and forgiveness.

Frontman Paolo Benjamin shared that the track drew inspiration from a genuine, personal experience involving a loved one who unexpectedly caused him deep emotional pain. Instead of cutting ties, he ultimately chose the path of forgiveness.

Benjamin further opened up about the deep personal value the track holds for him, noting that the song has acted as a steady source of emotional comfort and resilience through turbulent chapters of his life.
