MANILA — AyalaLand Logistics Holdings Corporation (ALLHC), the industrial real estate arm of property giant Ayala Land Inc., has signed Taiwanese solar equipment manufacturer Suntoward Tech Philippine Inc. as its newest tenant for industrial spaces in Pampanga and Batangas.
In an official statement, ALLHC announced that Suntoward leased over 3,800 square meters of gross leasable area at ALogis Mabalacat 1 in Pampanga to serve as the site for its initial manufacturing operations. To support its long-term operational growth, the firm also secured a long-term lease agreement for an 8,200-square-meter industrial land plot at Batangas Technopark in Padre Garcia.
Suntoward plans to utilize the facilities to fabricate, assemble, and manufacture high-density polyethylene floats, structural mounting components, and specialized walkways tailored for floating photovoltaic systems.
Commercial production at the Pampanga plant is scheduled to kick off in the first quarter of 2027, catering to engineering, procurement, and construction contractors, renewable energy developers, and industrial clients both locally and globally.
The strategic choice of locations places the manufacturer within vital logistics corridors across Central and Southern Luzon. ALogis Mabalacat 1 sits within the Pampanga Technopark with direct access to major arterial routes like the North Luzon Expressway and the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway, while remaining close to Clark International Airport.
Meanwhile, Batangas Technopark offers robust transport connections via the South Luzon Expressway and the Southern Tagalog Arterial Road Tollway.
“We are excited to establish our first operations in the Philippines through ALLHC’s facilities,” Suntoward President Jack Wang said, noting that the strategic investment positions their manufacturing footprint closer to regional renewable energy projects to address local supply chain needs.
ALLHC Chief Operating Officer Patrick Avila shared similar sentiments regarding the partnership.
“By providing industrial facilities in strategic regional locations, we aim to support businesses as they establish operations, expand capacity, and serve their markets,” Avila said.
The entry of the foreign manufacturer is expected to stimulate economic activity and produce skilled employment opportunities within Pampanga and Batangas as operations scale up.
