MANILA, Philippines — Property developer Megaworld Corporation has officially teamed up with the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) and the Pag-IBIG Fund to integrate its developments into the government’s Expanded Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino (4PH) Program.
Through this collaboration, qualified Pag-IBIG members can now secure housing loans of up to ₱10 million to purchase properties within Megaworld townships nationwide.
To ease homeownership, promotional fixed interest rates are available for the first three years to eligible members until the end of the year: a 4.5% rate applies to loans exceeding the socialized housing ceiling up to ₱4.9 million, while a 5.75% rate covers loans from ₱4.9 million up to ₱10 million.
“The dreamtof homeownership goes beyond having a place to call your own. It is about becoming part of a thriving community where everything you need to live, work, and enjoy life is within reach. Through this partnership with Pag-IBIG Fund, we want to bring this distinctive township lifestyle closer to more Filipinos by giving them greater opportunities to own a home and enjoy a more connected, convenient, and fulfilling way of life,” says Lourdes Gutierrez – Alfonso, President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Megaworld.
In addition to the financing options, Megaworld Corporation offered free upgrades for select studio and one-bedroom unit purchases to higher unit categories during the recent 2nd National Housing Expo.
