LUCENA CITY, Philippines — Kapatid noontime show Eat Bulaga brought its signature entertainment to the Southern Luzon State University (SLSU) Main Campus on Saturday, October 24, as students, faculty members, and university personnel gathered at the SLSU Gymnasium for its “Sugod Campus Mga Kapatid” segment.
The campus visit aimed to bring the long-running television program closer to students and other members of the academic community, giving them the opportunity to interact with the hosts and experience the show beyond their television screens.

The event opened with a lively dance presentation inspired by the Pahiyas Festival, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Lucban and setting an energetic tone for the program.
Students also took part in popular Eat Bulaga segments, including “The Age is Right” and “Gimme 5,” allowing participants to experience the show’s interactive games firsthand. The excitement continued with the appearance of guest performers Ace Banzuelo and Iñigo Pascual.
Aside from the games and performances, the program held a raffle that gave several students the chance to win prizes. The “EBest Scholar” segment was also featured, providing educational assistance to students in need of additional support for their studies.

For the SLSU community, particularly the university’s students known as Yuyans, the event offered a memorable opportunity to see the television personalities and participate in a program they usually watch from home.
Beyond entertainment, the campus activity also provided students with a closer look at the media and entertainment industry while creating opportunities for engagement outside their regular academic activities.

The visit concluded with a shared experience that brought together the SLSU community through entertainment, participation, and student engagement, highlighting how campus events can enrich university life beyond the classroom.
