PASIG CITY, Philippines — The local government of Pasig City will enforce a temporary one-way traffic scheme along C. Raymundo Avenue starting at 12:00 PM on Saturday, October 31, through November 1, to manage the influx of motorists and visitors during the observance of All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day.
The traffic advisory covers the northbound lane from E. Angeles Street to Mercedes Avenue across Barangays Sagad and Caniogan. Motorists heading toward the Rotonda from Mercedes Avenue are advised to take C. Raymundo Avenue, turn left onto Stella Maris Street, and make another left onto Dr. Sixto Antonio Avenue.
Alternatively, drivers can pass through Market Avenue, turn right onto Dr. Pilapil Street, and take a left onto E. Angeles Street.
Meanwhile, southbound vehicles on C. Raymundo Avenue heading to the Rotonda must turn left onto Stella Maris Street and proceed to Dr. Sixto Antonio Avenue. Motorists coming from Dr. Sixto Antonio Avenue bound for the Pasig City Cemetery (Barracks) are directed to head to the Rotonda and turn left onto C. Raymundo Avenue.
Undas Guidelines and Prohibitions
City officials urged residents to plan their cemetery visits in advance, noting that strict operating hours and schedules for tomb cleaning, burials, and masses will be enforced across local cemeteries, memorial parks, and columbaria from October 31 to November 2.
Visitors are reminded that the public is strictly prohibited from bringing alcoholic beverages, firearms, sharp objects, and noise-making devices into burial grounds, and all forms of gambling are banned.
To maintain health and safety, individuals experiencing flu-like symptoms are advised to stay home, while others visiting the grounds are encouraged to wear face masks. Authorities also advised the public to bring umbrellas, sufficient drinking water, and personal food supplies, as well as designated trash bags to maintain cleanliness.
First-aid tents and Philippine National Police (PNP) assistance desks will be stationed near all cemetery entrances to ensure public safety and order throughout the holiday weekend.
