MALOLOS, Philippines — The Police Regional Office 3 (PRO-3) apprehended 1,503 wanted individuals in October, marking the highest monthly arrest total recorded by any police regional office across the country.
PRO-3 Regional Director Brig. Gen. Jess Mendez announced the milestone, crediting the record-breaking figure to intensified, region-wide anti-crime operations. The total haul consists of 1,262 individuals classified as other most wanted persons and 241 listed among the region’s top 10 most wanted fugitives.
Provincial breakdowns show that Bulacan recorded the highest number of arrests with 327, followed by Pampanga with 270, Nueva Ecija with 247, Tarlac with 197, Bataan with 164, Zambales with 101, and Aurora with 59.
Additionally, the component cities of Angeles and Olongapo accounted for 88 and 50 arrests, respectively.
Mendez emphasized that the aggressive operations demonstrate law enforcement’s firm commitment to public safety and accountability.
“The arrests reflect the Philippine National Police’s intensified efforts to fight crime and ensure that individuals who violate the law are held accountable.”
“The importance of bringing justice to the families of crime victims through the continued pursuit and arrest of wanted persons cannot be overstated.”
