MANILA, Philippines — Converge Information and Communications Technology Solutions Inc. reported a four percent increase in consolidated revenues for the first nine months of the year, reaching ₱34.2 billion up from ₱33 billion during the same period last year. The growth was primarily driven by robust demand within its corporate internet unit.
The company’s enterprise division surged by 22% to bring in ₱6.4 billion, propelled by accelerating client acquisitions across both large corporate and small-business market segments. Large corporate accounts expanded by 29.3%, while small and medium enterprises grew by 15.4%. The enterprise segment now accounts for roughly one-fifth of Converge’s total revenues.
Meanwhile, residential revenues remained stable at ₱27.9 billion, supported by a subscriber base totaling 3.1 million users by the end of September, despite broader macroeconomic headwinds and inflationary pressures affecting household budgets.
On the financial front, earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) reached ₱19.9 billion, translating to a consolidated EBITDA margin of 58%. Net income after tax closed at ₱8.1 billion, yielding a net profit margin of 23.6% and a 14.5% return on invested capital.
Accrued capital expenditures hit ₱9.9 billion as network expansion continued, while the net debt position stood at ₱15.9 billion with a net debt-to-total equity ratio of 0.2x.
Chief Executive Officer Dennis Anthony Uy emphasized the strategic value of the company’s recent infrastructure buildout, noting that forward-looking investments—such as international subsea cable systems—helped safeguard network connectivity.
“With the additional capacity from these two new cables, Converge not only has the youngest but it also has the most resilient international network among Philippine operators today,” Uy said.
Additionally, Converge secured strategic investment status under government green lane provisions for its data center in Angeles City, Pampanga, which will facilitate its expansion into enterprise cloud compute and carrier-neutral co-location services.
