Philippine GameDev Expo (PGDX) introduced to community as the first-ever game development convention in the Philippines. The event will happen on August 18–20, 2023 at Function Room 3 & 4 of SMX Convention Center in Pasay.
The organizers, CBZN and Game Developers Association of the Philippines (GDAP), promised a unique and thrilling activities as well as to showcase the work of both local and international game developers, in addition a wide range of opportunities for content creators, indie game developers and business leaders.
PGDX was made possible by the support of, PLDT and SMART who was the event’s co-presenters for 3 days. They’re the Philippines’ largest telecommunications and digital service provider. On the otherhand Sticky Expo, Cosplay.ph and Hobby at Worx was PGDX’s event partners.
In partnership with Sticky Expo all PGDX attendees can visit the pre-function lobby at the 2nd floor of SMX Convention Center where their event and booths was set. All attendees can purchase any official and fanmade merchandise from their exhibitors and merchants.
A wide range of opportunities awaits the attendees! Aside from entrepreneurs who wants to showcase their products, there are also industry speakers’ that simply wants to collaborate and share their enthusiasm toward the gaming industry. PGDX organized a special activity for attendees who will attend on their most alluring and entertaining costume. The contest was entitled Cosplay @ PGDX. The participants will be chosen through a photo popularity contest, which will be posted on Philippine GameDev Expo’s official Facebook page. Among all participants, only 3 will be chosen to do a PGDX Gacha for their prizes.
