Manila, Philippines — The National Board of Canvassers (NBOC) of the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) has formally concluded the official vote count for the 2025 national and local elections, releasing the final and official results of the senatorial race.
Senator Bong Go of Team DuterTEN and PDP-Laban emerged as the topnotcher, garnering 27,121,073 votes to secure the first spot in the Senate race.
Former Senator Bam Aquino of the Katipunan ng Nagkakaisang Pilipino (KNP), regarded by analysts as one of the election’s “dark horses,” maintained his strong showing at second place with 20,971,899 votes. He was followed closely by fellow Team DuterTEN member and re-electionist Senator Bato dela Rosa with 20,773,946 votes.
Also landing in the top five are ACT-CIS Representative Erwin Tulfo of the administration coalition Alyansa Para Sa Bagong Pilipinas, and former Senator Kiko Pangilinan of the Liberal Party, a known ally of Aquino.

COMELEC is expected to proclaim the twelve winning senatorial candidates either today, May 16, or tomorrow, May 17 (Saturday).
Meanwhile, the poll body confirmed that the 2025 midterm elections recorded an 81.65% voter turnout, equivalent to around 55 million Filipinos casting their votes — the highest turnout ever recorded in a midterm election in the country.
