TV host-comedian and producer Willie Revillame is making his much-anticipated return to free TV as he officially revives his iconic variety game show Wowowin.
Revillame confirmed the comeback of the beloved program, which first aired on GMA Network in 2015 as a Sunday afternoon game show.
It later became part of the network’s weekday lineup as a lead-in to 24 Oras and ran until 2022.
In 2022, Wowowin moved to ALLTV for a primetime run but only lasted less than a year.
The show was briefly shelved when Revillame launched a new game show, Wil To Win, on TV5 in 2024, which ended in April following his unsuccessful senatorial bid.
Now, Wowowin is set to make its grand return through TV5, airing from its brand-new home — Studio W at the TV5 Reliance Center in Mandaluyong.
No official premiere date has been announced, but fans can expect Wowowin to return on-air later this year.
