After several years off-screen, the beloved “Tres Lolas” of noontime TV may be making a comeback.
TVJ Productions sparked excitement over the weekend after teasing the return of the iconic Kalyeserye characters—Lola Nidora, Lola Tidora, and Lola Tinidora—through a series of nostalgic social media posts.
The first teaser, shared via their official pages, featured the familiar background music of Dawin’s “Dessert” and Lou Bega’s “Mambo No. 5”—both widely associated with Lola Nidora and Lola Tinidora.
Fans are now eagerly awaiting a teaser for Lola Tidora.
The comedic trio, portrayed by Wally Bayola, Jose Manalo, and Paolo Ballesteros, rose to fame during the hit “Kalyeserye” segment of Eat Bulaga! in 2015.
The characters became fan favorites and even starred in films like Enteng Kabisote 10 and the Abangers and Trip Ubusan: The Lolas vs. Zombies, as well as their own spin-off talk show, The Lolas’ Beautiful Show.
While no official announcement has been made, the teasers strongly suggest that the Tres Lolas could soon be back to delight audiences once again.
