What was once one of the most intense rivalries in noontime television might soon become a surprising back-to-back lineup.
According to sources, Willie Revillame’s long-awaited comeback with Wowowin may precede the airing of the iconic Eat Bulaga! hosted by Senator Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon (TVJ) on TV5.

Revillame is expected to take the 11:00 AM timeslot, with Eat Bulaga! immediately following, though the final airing schedule and program durations have yet to be confirmed.

The revival of Wowowin is reportedly tied to the completion of “Studio W,” a new production facility being built by Revillame at the TV5 Reliance compound.

The two programs have a history of fierce competition.
From 2005 to 2010, Wowowee (ABS-CBN) and Eat Bulaga! (then on GMA-7) were locked in a high-stakes ratings battle.

The rivalry briefly reignited in 2013 with a three-way showdown between Eat Bulaga!, It’s Showtime, and Wowowillie on TV5.

However, the latter was short-lived and went off the air within the same year due to low ratings and the expiration of Revillame’s contract.
Now, more than a decade later, fans may witness both shows returning to daytime TV—this time not as rivals, but as part of a unified programming block on TV5.
