“NO REGRETS”: DUTERTE ACCEPTS ICC FATE, DEFENDS DRUG WAR

Former President Rodrigo Duterte has expressed no remorse for his controversial and bloody war on drugs, which has been widely criticized for alleged extrajudicial killings during his administration.

This was revealed by his former spokesperson, Atty. Harry Roque, after Duterte was visited by his ex-wife, Elizabeth Zimmerman, at his detention facility at the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague, Netherlands.

Roque shared that Duterte remains defiant, quoting him as saying: “If it is my destiny to be here, so be it. No apologies. No regrets.”

The former president was flown to The Hague after the ICC issued a warrant of arrest against him over charges related to crimes against humanity tied to his drug war.
