Patrick Paez, former Head of News for Channels and Content at Cignal TV, has been officially promoted to Vice President and Head of News5.
He has served as Officer-in-Charge of News5 since October 2024, succeeding Luchi Cruz-Valdez, who retired last year.
The announcement was made by his wife, Daphne Oseña Paez, through her Facebook Story on July 31.
In his new role, Paez will report to TV5 President and CEO Guido R. Zaballero for daily operations and to MediaQuest and Cignal TV President and CEO Jane J. Basas for strategic direction.
He will continue to oversee News5’s operations and ensure the sustainability of its business.
