The signing ceremony took place today, August 26 (Tuesday), between Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte and former Vice President and current Naga City Mayor Leni Robredo during Robredo’s visit to the Quezon City Hall.
The two cities first entered into a Sister City Agreement in 2017. Belmonte and Robredo, long-time political allies and friends, have maintained a close relationship, with Belmonte openly supporting Robredo’s candidacy during the 2016 vice presidential elections.
